Appointment Times

We offer appointments between 8.30am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday.  However, we maintain a flexible approach to appointment availability and other times such as early mornings, later evenings and weekend appointments can be offered by prior arrangement.

We can offer home visits if required, please ask about our availability when you call.

How to make an appointment

Please call 01235 531269 to make an appointment.  If we are unable to answer the phone it is likely that we are treating patients so please leave a message and we will call you back within 24 hours.

Referrals

We welcome self-referrals as well as referrals from GPs and Consultants.  If you have medical insurance and wish to make a claim for your treatment, it is likely that your insurers will ask for a doctor’s referral.  Please check by phoning your insurance company. We will need your Insurance Policy Number and Authorisation/Claim Number. 

Prices & Payment

Prices are as follows:

One hour initial assessment and treatment in clinic: £65

40 minute follow up appointment in clinic: £55

One hour home visit: £100  (price increase from 20/11/2023)

Video consultation: £55

Discretionary charges:

Up to £20 for single letter requests (including referrals for scans, consultants etc).  Additional charges are made on request relating to situations such as travel, insurance claims, gym memberships, events, school, information for employers and charity events etc.


Payment may be made by cash, cheque or BACS.

Cancellation fee

Please note any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a late cancellation fee. 

Insurance

If you have private health insurance then you may well be covered for treatment.  We are registered with Aviva, AXA Health, BUPA, Cigna, Simplyhealth, PruHealth and many others.  

What to bring

If you are wearing any brace, orthotic or specialised shoes, please bring them to the session.  Also bring any relevant X-rays, MRIs, reports or other scan results, as these may be useful in assessing your condition.  It is also advisable to bring any sports or walking shoes that you are currently using as these may be aggravating the condition.  

What to wear

Your normal day clothes will be fine, although, as part of your treatment or rehabilitation will probably involve some exercises, sports or loose clothing may be more comfortable.  You will be asked to undress as appropriate to the assessment required.
